The Ndere Cultural Centre

The Ndere cultural center is found in NTINDA along Kisaasi road, there is gorilla tracking, there is national game parks and there is the Ndere cultural center. It encapsulates the history of Uganda and it is a place where you get to know almost all of the Ugandan Traditional dances, African traditional stories and most of the folklore involving most of the Ugandan communities, it is a place where all age groups are entertained and satisfied, you shouldn’t miss it.

Murchison Falls

These are one of the most powerful falls on the face of earth. Murchison Falls, also known as Kabarega Falls, is a waterfall on the Nile. It breaks the Victoria Nile, which flows across northern Uganda from Lake Victoria to Lake Kyoga and then to the north end of Lake Albert in the western branch of the East African Rift. At the top of Murchison Falls, the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, only 7 meters (23 ft) wide, and tumbles 43 meters (141 ft), then flows westward into Lake Albert.

Ssese Islands Kalangala

The Ssese Islands form Kalangala district, they comprise of an archipelago of eighty-four islands in the northwestern part of Lake Victoria which is also the second largest lake in the world. The islands are found in the Kalangala District area in the southern Central part of Uganda.

Sipi Falls

Sipi Falls is a very beautiful sight, arguably the most beautiful waterfall in all of Uganda, found in Mbale district. The falls are about 55km north of Mbale, in the foothills of Mt Elgon and not far from the town of Kapchorwe.

Not only are the falls spectacular, so too are the views of Mt Elgon above them, and the wide plains of eastern and northern Uganda disappearing into the distance below. There are three levels of falls, but the two upper levels are fairly small compared with the main drop. It is well worth spending a night or two in this peaceful and pretty place.

Ruboni Cultural Visit - Nyakalengija Rwenzori Mountain

Ssezibwa Falls

These are found on river Ssezibwa,the name originated from “Sizibwa" (Luganda) which means my path cannot be blocked. The Sezibwa Falls are approximately 20 miles (32 km), east of Kampala, Uganda's capital, along the Kampala-Jinja Highway. The site is a Buganda Heritage Site. It is marked with an out-span of sharp-edged rocks and the magnificent sound of soothing waters flowing down the steep ridged stones. The Falls are located in Mukono District.

The Source of River Nile in Jinja

Ngamba Chimpanzee Island

Ngamba is one of the few places in the world you get to have a once in a life time interaction and experience with chimpanzees, it is reached by a 1 hr boat ride during which you also cross the equator, you experience feeding and taking care of the chimps, you can also do a forest walk with the chimps. Gorilla Tracking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable forest/Mgahinga National Parks.

Gorilla trekking/tracking in Uganda is done in Bwindi Impenetrable forest  and Mgahinga National Parks found in south western Uganda.
