The Ndere Cultural Centre

The Ndere cultural center is found in NTINDA along Kisaasi road, there is gorilla tracking, there is national game parks and there is the Ndere cultural center. It encapsulates the history of Uganda and it is a place where you get to know almost all of the Ugandan Traditional dances, African traditional stories and most of the folklore involving most of the Ugandan communities, it is a place where all age groups are entertained and satisfied, you shouldn’t miss it.

Lake Bunyonyi ("Lake of many little birds")

This is one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa, a place that is NOT to be missed when you come to Uganda, here at TTOSA we will make sure of that, it is a place of mystical magical beauty, a place of rest,  of solace, of quiet, of peace, you will simply be delighted, restored and rested, it is a place where after that long safari, you finally relax and take in all of the beauty and amazement you have had.

Murchison Falls

These are one of the most powerful falls on the face of earth. Murchison Falls, also known as Kabarega Falls, is a waterfall on the Nile. It breaks the Victoria Nile, which flows across northern Uganda from Lake Victoria to Lake Kyoga and then to the north end of Lake Albert in the western branch of the East African Rift. At the top of Murchison Falls, the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, only 7 meters (23 ft) wide, and tumbles 43 meters (141 ft), then flows westward into Lake Albert.

Ruboni Cultural Visit - Nyakalengija Rwenzori Mountain

Ruboni is found in Kasese district in Bugoye sub-county.it surrounds the Rwenzori Mountains, The cultural visit involves Nyambuku hill climbing, which goes up to about 2000m high, on a clear day, the margherita peak, the third highest peak in Africa can be spotted when on the top of Nyambuku hill, there is also a provision for night camping, a 3-4hr forest walk around the Buraro hill.

The Igongo Cultural Centre

The center was opened of recent on the 23rd of December 2011, it is situated about 9 miles east of Mbarara, if you are looking for a quiet pleasant place to relax, this is the ideal place, the place provides good local quality food and drink, there is also a museum here which allows you to explore the history and the culture of the region, if you are travelling southwest of Uganda, you shouldn’t miss it.

Sipi Falls

Sipi Falls is a very beautiful sight, arguably the most beautiful waterfall in all of Uganda, found in Mbale district. The falls are about 55km north of Mbale, in the foothills of Mt Elgon and not far from the town of Kapchorwe.

Mabira Forest Jinja Uganda

The Mabira forest Reserve  is located approximately 56km East of Uganda's capital kampala on the main kampala-Jinja high way in the district of Buikwe.The Mabira forest lies on an area of about 300sqkm of land and was gazzetted as a forest reserve in 1932 and is still home to many forest inhabitants like many primates.

Ngamba Chimpanzee Island

Ngamba is one of the few places in the world you get to have a once in a life time interaction and experience with chimpanzees, it is reached by a 1 hr boat ride during which you also cross the equator, you experience feeding and taking care of the chimps, you can also do a forest walk with the chimps. The care givers are very caring and welcoming to both the visitors and the chimps. If you are staying overnight, the food and services are fantastic. The flora, fauna and setting of the island is also very captivating.

The Source of River Nile in Jinja

Jinja lies in southeastern Uganda, approximately 54 miles (87 km), by road, east of Kampala. The town is located on the shores of Lake Victoria, next to the source of the Nile. Jinja town is one of those places you do not want to miss when you visit Uganda, there are quite a number of attractions and considering the fact that the source of the Nile is found in Jinja.
